Art history
Back in 2006, I enrolled on an 'Art Access' course at Shipley College, which was then located in the idyllic heritage village of Saltaire. It was to bring about a reawakening of my lust for creativity which had been locked away somewhere in my past following a traumatic period and subsequent child 'rearing' and household duties.
The course addressed several modules: painting & drawing, print, life drawing and art history and led me on to more courses focusing on textile art which opened the door to my wild imagination.
